 Coil Car/Upenders/Downenders
The
coil car upender receives a coil eye vertical on a pallet
from a tow motor, tips the coil 90 degrees to eye horizontal
on the centering "V" of the lift table, moves to the uncoiler
and positions the coil on the mandrel. The coil car downender
reverses this process by moving to a recoiler or turnstile,
lifting and moving the coil off the mandrel, tipping 90 degrees
to place the coil on a pallet for removal by tow motor.
